Alerts and levels
1Alerts and levels
How to set signal levels in the order book, tape and on the chart, when they trigger, where notifications go, and how to configure alert rules in the screener, tape, liquidity walls and arbitrage.
The terminal has two kinds of alerts. A signal level is a price that, when crossed, makes the terminal ring: you set it in the order book, the tape, or on the chart. A rule is a condition inside a panel: the screener catches a metric entering a range, the tape catches large or repeated trades, liquidity walls catch a wall appearing or price approaching it, and the arbitrage screener catches spread.
Alerts arrive as sound, a journal entry, a panel flash, in the “Alerts” feed, and, if configured, in Telegram. Panel rules can be spoken aloud — see Voice.
How to set a signal level
| Where | How |
|---|---|
| Order book | Hold K and click a price row. Clicking the same row again with K removes the level |
| Tape | Same: K + click a row |
| Chart | Double-click the chart, press Alt+A (“Signal level at cursor”), or right-click → Signal level at … |
Default keys can be changed in Settings → Hotkeys; see Hotkeys.
Double-click sets a level as long as chart settings have Double-click on chart set to Sets a signal level — the default. The other option, Expands the panel under the cursor, gives double-click to panel expansion; then levels on the chart are set with the hotkey or from the menu.
A level is shared across the order book, tape and chart of the same coin: set it in the order book and the line appears on that coin’s chart, including in another window, and vice versa. Line display on the chart is toggled by right-click: Hide alert lines and Show alert lines.
When a level triggers
A level rings when price crosses through it. Counting starts from the moment it is set: price already passed is not counted, so a level near the current price does not trigger immediately. Same after moving a level.
A triggered level becomes gray and no longer rings. If the same coin is open in both the order book and the chart, the trigger counts once.
Repeating level
Select an alert line on the chart — a panel appears above it with a 1x / RPT toggle. In RPT mode the level rings on every new crossing, but no more than once a minute.
Re-arm
A triggered level has a bell: on the chart — to the left of the price card, in the tape — at the left edge of the column. Clicking the bell puts the level back into service.
Moving and deleting
- Move — drag the line with the mouse on the chart or in the tape. A level set on the chart cannot be moved in the tape — it is edited only on the chart.
- Remove one — K + click a row in the order book or tape; on the chart — select the line and press the trash icon on its panel.
- O (“Delete all levels”) — removes all regular and signal levels in the order book.
- P (“Delete all inactive levels”) — removes triggered levels; repeating levels remain.
To make a triggered level disappear on its own instead of staying gray, enable in Settings → General → Signal levels the options Remove triggered level from chart and Remove triggered level from order book. They do not affect repeating levels.
Alerts panel
The Alerts panel (“Price signals”) is a log of signal levels. The Active tab shows armed levels, Triggered shows the trigger history, with columns Ticker, Price, Source and Time. The Clear button clears the current tab: on “Active” it removes levels, on “Triggered” it erases history. The panel flashes when an alert triggers.
Where alerts arrive
- Sound — Settings → Notifications → Notification manager → Sounds, row Signal level. The same place has sounds for order execution, connection, team alerts and script alerts.
- Panel frame flash — Settings → General → Alerts → Frame highlight.
- “Alerts” feed — rule triggers, price levels and system messages in one place. Opens with a button in the top panel or as a separate panel; has search, Sources and Status filters, and a New only toggle.
- Telegram — a message “Alert for … : price … reached.” to your chat.
How to connect Telegram
Create a bot
Message @BotFather in Telegram, create a bot and copy its token.
Find your ID
@userinfobot will tell you. Then open your bot and press Start — without this the bot cannot message you.
Fill in the settings
Settings → Notifications → Telegram notifications: Enable, Bot token, Telegram ID. If Telegram is not directly accessible, specify Proxy (optional).
Test
Press Test. On success you will see “✓ Message sent”.
If instead you see “Open your bot in Telegram and press Start” — the bot has not yet received Start from you. “No connection to Telegram — try selecting a proxy” — Telegram is not responding on this route.
Regular levels and levels from services
A regular level is just a reference line; it does not ring. Set it with L + click in the order book or tape. Whether such levels are mirrored between the order book and the chart is controlled by Settings → General → Level mirroring: Mirror levels from order book to chart and Mirror levels from chart to order book.
An external service — a liquidity wall screener, a signal service — can place its own levels in the terminal via a lootx:// link. These are also regular levels: in the tape the line is labeled with the service name, and there is no signal on crossing. How this works is in the “Levels from your service” section of Open in LootX button.
Rules in panels
| Panel | Where to configure | What it catches | Channels |
|---|---|---|---|
| Screener | Column popup → Alerts | A column value entering a range | Sound, voice, popup |
| Tape | Tape settings → Alerts tab | Size, repetition, rhythm, accumulation, series, speed, flow detectors | Sound, voice, popup, Telegram, row highlight |
| Liquidity walls | Panel settings → Enable alerts | A wall appearing and price approaching it | Sound, voice, toast, Telegram |
| Arbitrage screener | Panel settings → Alerts → Notify about new arbitrage | Net spread above threshold | Sound, voice, popup notification, card in header, Telegram |
A screener rule triggers at the moment a value enters the range, not the whole time it stays inside; the pause between triggers is counted per coin. The rule works even when the screener is open on another tab. How to set up columns and filters — see Screener and watchlist.
Tape rules check the raw trade stream — before display filters, so a tape filter does not mute an alert. Highlighting colors every matching row, while the pause between triggers only throttles sound, voice and popup.
For liquidity walls, Push type chooses where the notification goes: Popup, Notification window (a card in the top panel next to the clock: click opens the coin, wheel scrolls past ones) or Both.
All enabled rules are collected in the Sound and notifications window — opened by the speaker button in the top panel. There you can turn off a channel for any rule without opening its panel.
Alerts, levels and rules live in this terminal: cloud settings sync does not move them to another computer.
