Screener and Watchlist

new Updated September 30, 2026 This page as PDF

Which metrics the LootX screener shows, how to filter coins, manage lists and favorite flags, open a coin in linked panels, and find cross-exchange spreads.

The Screener is a table of coins with live metrics: price and change, volume and number of trades, NATR volatility, correlation with BTC, open interest, funding rate, spread. Metrics are computed by LootX servers; the terminal only displays them, so the screener does not load your exchange connections.

In the screener you filter coins, keep lists (watchlists), mark favorites with colored flags, and send a coin to the order book and chart with one click. Cross-exchange spreads have a separate panel — the Arbitrage screener.

How to add the screener

The screener is a regular workspace panel: in the panel picker it is the Screener tile labeled “Instrument filter”. How to add panels and arrange them into tabs is described in Workspace.

Screener panel

Above the table is a button bar:

  • + (“Add tickers”) — choose exchanges, quote currencies, and exclusions;
  • Lists — switch, create, and edit lists;
  • Clear list — remove all tickers from the current list;
  • funnel — the Filters and columns window; its tooltip lists the active conditions;
  • Refresh — re-read the coin catalogs of the shown exchanges to pick up new listings;
  • search field — filter by ticker.

If all rows are hidden, the panel says so and suggests checking +: selected exchanges, quote currencies, and exclusions.

Columns

By default the ★ flag, Ticker, Exchange, Type (spot or futures), Price, 24h %, 24h Volume $, and Funding % are visible. The rest are enabled in the Filters and columns window: columns are grouped there, with search over columns and a “All / On / With filter / With alerts” toggle.

Group Columns What they show
Price Price, 24h % Last price and 24-hour change
Change 5m, 15m, 1h move % Price change over the window
1m candle 1m move %, 1m volume $, 1m trades Move, turnover, and trade count of the last closed minute candle
Range Range 5m … 24h Price range from low to high over the window, %
Volume Volume 5m … 12h $, Volume 24h $ Dollar turnover over the window; daily — as reported by the exchange
Avg Volume Avg volume 1m … 1h $ Average per-minute turnover over the last minute candles of the window
Trades Trades 5m … 24h Number of trades over the window
NATR NATR 1/30 %, NATR 5/14 % Average true range as a percentage of price: from minute candles with period 30 and from five-minute candles with period 14
BTC Corr BTC corr 1/50, BTC corr 5/20 Return correlation with BTCUSDT: over 50 minute and 20 five-minute candles
OI OI $, ΔOI 1m … 24h % Open interest in dollars and its change over the window
Funding Funding %, Until fund. Current rate and time until payment
Spread Spread %, Spread 1h % Difference between best bid and ask — now and hourly average
RVol RVol 24h, RVol 1h Volume relative to usual: current hour vs the same hour over the last 7 days, today vs the average day

Open interest and funding exist only for futures, so spot rows show “—” in these columns. A dash also appears where the server has not sent a value yet: such a column does not participate in filtering, so an empty value is not mistaken for zero.

Column order changes by dragging the header, width by dragging its edge. Right-clicking a header opens the column menu.

Filters and sorting

Sorting — click a column header; clicking again reverses the direction.

Column filter is set in two ways: in the Filters and columns window (the checkbox enables the column together with the filter) or with the filter icon in the column header itself. Both places accept “from” and “to” bounds. For columns with a sign — price change, ΔOI, funding — there is also a direction choice:

  • All — any values within bounds;
  • Long and Short — only up moves or only down moves;
  • ± — by absolute value: +38% and −38% pass equally. Sorting by such a column is also by absolute value.

In the General section of the filter window there are toggles ★ Favorites only, ★ column in table, and Aggregate exchanges. Aggregation merges one coin from different exchanges into one row: clicking the exchange icon expands the rows of all venues, right-clicking selects the exchange whose numbers the summary row shows.

From the same column popup you can open Alerts — rules that fire when the column value enters a given range — and Breakpoints for coloring cells by value. Alert rules are described on the Alerts and levels page.

Exchanges, currencies, and exclusions

The + button defines which coins appear in the table at all:

  • Exchanges — venues whose coins the panel shows;
  • Quote currencies — for example, only pairs against USDT; the selection applies to both spot and futures, and the Apply to all exchanges button copies the selection to the other venues;
  • exclusions ⊘ — “Exclude Binance” hides all coins that trade on Binance, both spot and futures. This is how you find coins not yet listed on major exchanges. There can be several exclusions.

Spot or futures are chosen with the Type column filter.

Favorites and flags

Clicking a ★ cell opens a palette of six flag colors and an ✖ button that clears the flag. You can mark several rows at once: select them with Ctrl or Shift and choose a color in the right-click menu; there is also a Clear flags item.

To see only flagged coins, enable ★ Favorites only in the General section of the filter window.

Lists

The screener shows one list — a named set of tickers. The Lists button switches them and opens commands Create new list…, Rename…, Delete list, and Import…; the list overview shows how many tickers each list contains.

You can fill a list in several ways:

  • select rows and choose Add to list or Move to list in the right-click menu;
  • paste tickers from the clipboard — both BINANCE:BTCUSDT.P-style strings from TradingView and plain symbols work; a symbol without an exchange is bound to the panel’s current exchange;
  • export the list back with Export: copy and Export: save .txt.

Several panels in different tabs and windows can show the same list: edits in one are immediately visible in the others.

How to open a coin from the screener

The screener does not create panels itself — it sends the coin to its linking group.

The same color as the order book and chart that should switch together. How linking groups work is in the Workspace section.

Click a row

The coin opens in all panels of the group, and also in panels that follow the active panel (◎ To active window mode).

Without a link color, clicking a row opens nothing: an unlinked screener is just a display.

Other ways:

  • drag a row onto the desired panel — the coin opens there, including on the liquidity map and in time and sales;
  • Open on all exchanges in the right-click menu — the coin opens on the All exchanges tab;
  • Copy ticker in the same menu or a middle-click on a row — the ticker goes to the clipboard.

Arbitrage screener

A separate Arbitrage screener panel (“Cross-exchange spreads by coin”) pairs one coin from two venues or markets: Spot + Futures, Futures + Futures, or Spot + Spot. Data comes from the same server-side screener stream. The new panel has four major venues enabled; the rest can be added.

Column What it shows
Coin Ticker and pair composition
Exchanges Venue, market, and price of each leg
Funding Current rate, interval, and time until payment
24h Funding Funding over 24 hours; “≈” — estimated from the current rate, no “≈” — actual payments
Entry spread Price difference of the legs, %
Net spread Entry spread plus short-leg funding minus long-leg funding
24h Volume Turnover of the weaker leg
Annualized Net spread annualized
Peak Maximum entry spread over the observation window
Lives How long the spread stays above the threshold
Score Composite rating: size, liquidity, persistence, decay

Smart filter offers ready-made threshold sets for a strategy, the Freeze row order button stops resorting while you inspect the table, and Spread history keeps the last opened pairs. Clicking or dragging opens the pair in the panel’s linking group, each leg on its own exchange. You can set alerts on spreads with sound, voice, and Telegram.

FAQ

Why does clicking a coin in the screener do nothing?
The screener sends the coin only to its own linking group. Assign it the same link color as the order book and chart, or drag the row straight onto the panel you need.
Why is there a dash in the OI and funding columns?
Open interest and funding rate exist only for futures contracts; spot rows always show “—” there. The dash also appears when the server hasn’t sent a value yet — such a column isn’t used in filtering.
How do I find coins that aren’t on Binance?
Click “+” and enable the Binance exclusion: the screener will hide all coins that trade on Binance, both spot and futures. You can set multiple exclusions.
What does NATR 1/30 mean?
Average true range as a percentage of price, calculated from one-minute candles with a period of 30. NATR 5/14 is the same on five-minute candles with a period of 14.
